Duffy Show
On Tuesday we had the Duffy Show presented by Duffy, Scruffy and Crystal. It was very entertaining where Duffy and Scruffy were on the mission to find how Crystal’s card got wrong data.
Olympic Assembly Launch GTS 2024
This week Glen Taylor School celebrated and created our own parody of the 2024 Olympics! Every syndicate and class represented one country that was chosen from a wheel that we spun. My class / room 12 spun and landed on Canada! We created many things like ties, headbands and flags to represent Canada in the Student Leader Assembly / Olympic Assembly launch.
Longer lunch breaks
We have been working on drafting text about our opinions.
I wrote about having longer lunchtimes – after Mr Raj and Miss Minna wrote down some of my ideas and details.
I feel good about my writing and would like to talk to Ms Wrack about it.
Tech@Tamaki College
Today at Tamaki College, Team Tui went down to Tamaki for our tech.
At food tech we made chocolate brownies and Rolex and I wanted them not too wet but not burnt.
We were happy with the result – and Mr Victor had a try of our brownies.
We thanked Miss Hamer for our Tech cooking and we really appreciated it.
HALS learning with Mrs Diamond
Today we had Mrs Diamond modelling two fitness lessons for us. They were called “Tail Tag” and “On the Bench”. We had so much fun learning new skills and having fun with friends.
